International Sustainable Finance Center (ISFC) is looking for interns to join our team in Prague and support our work around sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement and events.
We are currently recruiting interns for two focus areas:
Track 1: Event Support
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is organized and would like to gain practical experience in event management.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the organization and delivery of ISFC events, including the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit (14-16 September 2026, in Prague) and Climate Week Prague
- Supporting registration and guest management
- Assisting with event logistics and coordination before and during events
- Liaising with speakers, partners and other stakeholders
- Supporting preparation of event materials, agendas and participant lists
- Helping with venue set-up and on-site coordination
- Taking notes during meetings and supporting promotion and social media communication
Track 2: Research & Stakeholder Mapping
This role would suit someone interested in sustainable finance, European policy, research and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting desk research on sustainable finance, climate policy and related developments in the EU and CEE region
- Supporting stakeholder mapping and maintaining stakeholder databases
- Identifying relevant organizations and individuals for ISFC projects and events
- Monitoring relevant policy, market and industry developments
- Collecting and synthesizing information from public sources
- Supporting the preparation of short research notes, briefings and background materials
- Assisting with research and preparation for the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit and other ISFC initiatives
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc research tasks as needed
About ISFC
The International Sustainable Finance Center (ISFC) is an independent think tank focused on sustainable finance and the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient economy, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe.
We are a small and growing team of former private-sector professionals who value integrity, good humor, curiosity and a sharp mind. We are looking for people who are comfortable working independently, willing to take initiative and interested in developing their knowledge and experience in sustainable finance, policy and events.
Our office is located in Prague 7.
Working arrangements
- Location: Prague, Czechia
- Type: Part-time internship
- Duration: Short-term / flexible, with the possibility of extending depending on mutual interest and availability
- Start: As soon as possible
- Availability: We are particularly looking for candidates who can support us during September 2026, including the period around the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit (14–16 September) and Climate Week Prague (14–20 September).
- Remuneration: Interns will receive a contribution in the form of vouchers or gift cards, with the details agreed based on the scope and availability of the internship.
- The exact responsibilities and working hours will be agreed with each successful candidate based on their interests, skills and availability.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from students and recent graduates who are:
- Interested in sustainability, sustainable finance, climate policy, European affairs or events
- Reliable, organized and proactive
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Strong communicators with good attention to detail
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Based in Prague or able to work in person in Prague when required
- Previous experience is welcome but not essential. We are more interested in curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
