LEAD DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Our focus is on high-performance sensor interfaces, drivers, and communication circuits, primarily for the automotive industry.

We are looking for a Lead Digital Design Engineer. In this role, you will have technical ownership of a specific IC product to define and drive its development through all lifecycle phases.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with marketing and customers to define system-level requirements and IC specifications
• Oversee the proposal of innovative and creative solutions to achieve the required specifications
• Lead technical aspects of projects, as well as task planning and coordination
• Design and verify digital circuits using HDL languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
• Perform synthesis and design-for-test (DFT) implementation
• Manage the interface with other internal teams for layout, test, and process technology
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Conduct technical reviews, including design documentation and test plans
• Drive the team to first-pass success and timely execution using established design methodologies

What We’re Looking For

• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 15+ years of professional experience in digital design and/or verification
• Solid understanding of digital design principles
• Knowledge of functional verification concepts, especially UVM
• Proficiency in HDL languages – Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
• Solid understanding of the RTL to GDS flow
• Advanced communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics
• Ability to think at the system level, and demonstrate technical leadership
• Understanding of project management
• Ability to translate deeply technical concepts into design specifications
• Awareness of EMC design considerations
